Yes - and No. Account teams absolutely play a critical role in representing the client’s POV. They likely know the individual client and the business dynamics better than I do, which is why collaboration is key.

But unless they’ve spent 20+ years on the client side, they won’t have the same depth of perspective I bring. I’ve learned the nuances, best practices, and pressure points that transcend any one client or category. That’s the value I add - and why this works best as a true collaboration,

Isn’t that what the Account Team is for?

Do you just work with the Account Team?

No. While the account team is a key partner, it’s critical that I have access to anyone who contributed to the work - whether that’s media, strategy, creative, or production.

If I’m reviewing it, I need to understand it. That means asking questions, pushing thinking, and giving the team an opportunity to defend and strengthen the work before it’s in front of the client.

Do you work just on new business pitches?

No. While new business pitches are high-stakes projects with big upside, I can support anything headed to a client - campaign presentations, strategy decks, creative reviews, and more.

For smaller or one-off needs, my hourly structure is often the best fit.
